BodyTite and FaceTite
Jump To
- Minimal invasive body contouring procedure performed by board certified Plastic Surgeons delivering results delivering results only achieved via more excisional surgical procedures
- designed for patients who want to avoid surgery with longer downtime
- patients able to reduce fat without leaving behind sagging, wrinkling skin and also tighten sagging skin without surgical incisions
- performed in office with local anesthesia
- patients can achieve surgical-like results with no large incisional scars, less downtime and long lasting natural results
- BodyTite technology is powered by bipolar directional RadioFrequency (RF) resulting in three-dimensional tissue remodeling through fat coagulation, volumetric heating and eventual radiofrequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL)
- Temperature controlled heating ensures heat treatment results are consistent and avoids overtreated and undertreated areas; RF induced heat is delivered to every tissue level from the deep fat layer up to the skin’s surface to create simultaneous fat destruction and skin tightening
- treatment areas include face/neck, abdomen, love handles, bra fat, arms, thighs, chest (men) and breasts
- Also treats Cellulite
Frequently Asked Questions
- Who are candidates for this procedure? Anyone who has concerns with either unwanted areas of fat or sagging skin who want to avoid more invasive surgical procedures. Patients with BMI <30 are the best candidates however it is best to request a consultation to see if you are a good candidate
- How long does the procedure take? depending upon the area to be treated, 1-2 hours
- What is the recovery? Less than 1 week and for some individuals only 2-3 days
- When will I see the final results? Because this minimally invasive nonexcisional procedure relies on controlled RF heating to remodel the deep tissue structures, the final outcome will take at least 6 months. For fat reduction, you will see nice results as early as 3 weeks when the swelling goes away but the final tightening of the saggy skin takes at least 6 months for the collagen to remodel itself.
- Are there any sutures? No. This is a nonexcisional body/face rejuvenation procedure that will deliver results similar to that seen with surgery (up to 50%)
- When can I return to exercising? As early as a couple of days but no longer than one week
- What are the risks? In the hands of properly qualified Plastic Surgeons, the risks are minimal including temporary swelling, bruising, small scars and infection. Small burns have been reported on patents with heavy sun spots or old scars that could attract more focused energy
