View Before and After Photos here…

If you desire a dramatic, effective way to instantly improve the appearance of your face and chest or any area of the body, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) may be the right treatment for you. Looking your best can be a simple matter of clearing age spots and unsightly vessels revealing brighter, more attractive skin. Intense Pulsed Light, which works best on lighter skin types that have not been tanned, can improve age spots, freckles, red spots (angiomas), rosacea and broken vessels on the face or body. We also commonly treat scars with very impressive results, and no downtime. At Nouveau Cosmetic Center, we specialize in treating our post-operative patients to improve their scars immediately after surgery with IPL.

The first step to better skin is a complimentary consultation at Nouveau Cosmetic Center. Our team of board certified plastic surgeons, physician assistant, nurse and aestheticians will analyze your skin and determine the best treatment options for skin health and optimal results. Often, before Intense Pulsed Light treatments, your skin is prepped to ensure you receive results that are not only dramatic, but long lasting.

Get the glowing results you desire with our new skin revitalizing intense pulsed light laser. It helps to reverse the signs of sun damage, reduce uneven skin tone and rosacea, as well as remove unwanted facial veins.

Light-based skin revitalization is a non-surgical treatment that will improve your skin’s appearance quick and easy. This advanced technology clears undesirable brown spots, sun damage and vessels, revealing clearer, more beautiful skin.

So, how does it work? Pulses of light target unwanted pigment and vessels within your skin. The light delivered causes them to slowly disappear through your body’s natural healing process.

This treatment offers excellent results with no downtime, a low level of discomfort during the treatment, as well as fast and easy treatment sessions.

Our Skintel® Melanin Reader™ uses an advanced technology to measure the skins melanin index at each treatment. This index is used to determine the ideal settings for each individual patient. This helps to increase the safety and results for each treatment.

During treatment, as your provider guides the handpiece over the treatment area you will feel cooling on the skin. This contact cooling will maximize your comfort during the treatment, making it an extremely tolerable experience.

  • Dramatic results

Procedure:

Any area of the face or body can be treated with IPL. A broad spectrum of light if transmitted through a hand-piece which is gently placed on the skin’s surface. The light penetrates through the top layer of skin and specifically targets and damages the unwanted areas of excess pigmentation or broken blood vessels. The body’s natural processes then remove the excess pigment or vessels leaving your skin with a more even and youthful appearance. IPL does not damage the skin and takes 20 – 30 minutes to perform.

Recovery:

During an Intense Pulsed Light treatment, cold air is utilized on the treatment area making IPL well tolerated with little to no discomfort. There is no downtime after IPL treatments and results can be seen immediately and continue to improve over several weeks. Individuals can resume all normal activities as well as skin care products.

Intense Pulsed Light treatments do not improve areas on the face or body that are classified as moles, pre-cancers or skin cancer. At Nouveau Cosmetic Center, additional therapies can be performed to effectively treat precancerous skin cells including Metvixia and Levulan therapies. Our board certified plastic surgeons will assess your full skin care concerns and make the appropriate recommendations for your needs.
